The Mystery of My Parents

 

The doorbell rings. I opened the doors of my house to check who is there at this hour of the night, exactly midnight, starting the day of my 18th birthday, a package was left which could change my entire life, written on it, sent by my Parents. This is largely unexpected as my parents died in mysterious ways, supposedly a car crash, which left me with my over weight Grandpa and underweight grandma. Grandma was the only thing that kept me from running out of this house, but now things have changed and she is on her death bed. I decide to go to sleep and open the package tomorrow, but first check my Grandma. I went to her room to know, she died peacefully in her sleep, now the things are clear enough, I am going to go away from my grandpa, such far away he can not treat me as he likes. I leave a note for him, as he wouldn't even care if grandma died, being drunk most of the time, I leave the house for once and all. It was 5 in the morning when I was waken up by the loud goods train passing the station on which I slept, being not a very good night having most of my time fighting some strays asking for money and mosquitoes trying to take my blood, I was sleepless. Dread passed me as I remembered of my Grandma's lifeless body. The package still lay besides me as I used as a pillow for my sleepy head.I opened the package up to see nothing but a large envelope, written all over it - ' ONLY FOR JOSEPH' , Joseph, yes that was me, who cared still in the world for me to send this package, must be a prank but why not open it? Inside I saw a pair of glasses, what, a pair of glasses for me, who thought i would wear those weird glasses? Their was a note besides it which read , "Joseph, Hope this package reached you safely with the glasses. I know you are reading it while on being on the train station, sorry that your grandma passed away yesterday, but you have a mission left, to find out how your parents died, Complete it and then there will be a reward greater than anything else for you waiting. Your well wisher , Anonymous " . This was completely weird, a pair of glasses by an anonymous person and finding out the cause of the death of my parents. Great, here is where most adventures start but this is the sole motive of my life now, so let's do it. I wear the glasses and i get a blinding flash over my eyes , must be something, I feel nausea capturing me, then the glasses spoke - ' TIME TRAVELLING TO 16TH DECEMBER, 2011' - that was the day my parents were killed, yeah time travelling with glasses is fun, very much. I waited for 9 minutes to be exact , and that was the number of years ago my parents died, these glasses took me 1 year back per minute, and at last here I was, at the right very pavement behind the bushes from where my parent's car was going to crash with a tow truck. I saw them pass by, yes, I saw them pass by, they were not killed by any sort of truck, I am now following them seeing what they do next, not running of course, bicycling on my way. I saw them go inside the Octagon, the fictional high security chambers for Secret agents of the countries. I need to know what happened so I moved forward with my bike , yeah changed bicycle to bike as I am 18 above. The glasses started again - 'YOU ARE ONE TOUGH BOY. NOW FIRST THANK ME FOR GIVING YOU THE IDEA OF BIKE. NEXT I AM STARTING INVISIBILITY AND ABILITY TO PASS THROUGH ANYTHING.' , OK the glasses AI namely - Tuesday , is helping me get through obstacles. I am going in and after a while I will tell you what happened. OMG! I now know exactly what happened , my Parents were alive, they never died, instead there dead clones made in OCTAGON were sprayed with blood and kept at the crime site. My parents went to a planet known as BH-34c45 as I saw them board a rocket and disappear, they disappeared right in front of me and this glasses said - ' TIME'S UP KIDDO. YOU KNOW YOUR PARENTS ARE ALIVE. LET ME NOW TAKE YOU TO THE PRESENT AND SHOW YOU IN A HOLOGRAPHIC WAY WHAT THEY LEFT FOR YOU. BUT FOR THAT YOU HAVE TO GO BACK AND HELP YOUR GRANDPA, HOWEVER BAD HE MAY BE'. Sigh, going back to the prison although now he has no rights on me still I dont like him because the way he treated me in the past. I went back to the funeral with some flowers, on questioned where I went, I told to bring some flowers for my grandma.At last after the funeral procession was over, Grandpa quietly cried a lot in the living room, alone. I went to the attic as the glasses directed me to, and there was a photograph of everyone in my family,Mother, Father and some old people. The Old people should have been my Grandpa and Grandma but they were different. Then the Glasses spoke - 'HEY KIDDO. WHAT DO YOU THINK, THE PEOPLE YOU SAY GRANDMA AND GRANDPA ARE YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER. BH-34c45 IS NEAR A VERY SMALL STAR AND THUS, THEY AGES 80 TIMES FASTER, AND WHEN THEY RETURNED YOU WERE JUST 1 YEAR OLDER AND THEY WERE LIKE YOUR GRANDMA AND GRANDPA, THUS THEY REPLACED THEM AS YOUR GUARDIANS'. A long pause and realization swept through me, it was my father and not my grandpa in the living room and-and the per..person who died was my MOTHER. I lived with them everyday still wasn't able to figure it out. I went to my dad and told him the truth, he said everything I experienced was true and he and his mother took the wrong decision leaving me alone, they regretted it till date. He showed me his photo on planet BH-34c45 and the mystery of my parents was solved at last.
