Independence Day Special

 Hello Friends , I am Arnav again! Today we are going to talk about today, That is The Independence Day of India. 

    India acquired it's freedom through years of struggle and bloodshed.It was needed for the fast development and equality among citizens at that time, because the British didn't allow the growth of the Indian Citizens.

Today we will talk about 'India:Before and After Independence' .There will be 5 points each: Condition of Living, Technology, Equality, Law and Order, Situation,.So what are we waiting for let's start.

India: Before Independence

Condition of Living - 

• British : They lived in the Posh areas of the cities, along with available facilities such as table fans, cleaning drinking and running tap water, Beds with linen mattresses, white painted bungalows, with usually nuclear families.

• Indians- Dogs were treated better than Indian in cities as their real place was considered to be in rural areas. In villages the facilities were like nil (nil : zero,over ,nothing). Running water was in rivers or canals which were either 2-3 km away from inland villages or in cities. Air ventilation was due to the mud houses and people slept on floors.

Equality - I don't want to bias but it's the Truth. The signs of equality were in the papers but not in the reality.The chances of equality came in during the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857. The then Viceroy- Lord Cannings improved the wages and made the sepoys, if not completely but partially, equal. Before those times the judiciary was also not equal. The saying today 'Everyone is equal before the Law' was likely to be 'If anything wrong happens Indians are to be arrested'.  Mahatma Gandhi - A non-violence protester had his complete rights to assemble peacefully without arms, still He was arrested '11 times'.
Now let's move to the next topic.

Technology- The only thing I personally like about the British. Due to the Industrial revolution in Europe, India also was transformed in many ways, The steam engines brought a whole new level in transportation which was way better than bullock-carts.The Aeroplanes were a revolution (although they were like a 10 degree above with air slapping your mouth and if you felt nausea their is a 1 litre bag below your seat,which by the way was not maintained). Technology by the way reached new levels.

Law and Order-The condition of the Law and Order was the best among countries during the first decades of ruling by British. Then, as the time passed the Law and Judiciary became corrupt and inefficient, especially the Police.The first attempts to make these things right were done by Lord Cannings who made The system efficient by increasing wages and eliminating the practice of Bribery.

Situation- The overall condition can be taken as a negative and a positive but as I'm Good and not a bias I would say the British Rule was an important and needed part of our History, or today we would still be like a 200 years back from the modern world, because we still would be finding our ways through 562 kingdoms.Be Positive (Positive thoughts and not positive tests).☺

India: After Independence

Condition of Living - 

• British- They now live in their own country, Britain and have no connection India.☺️
                                                          
  
  
• India- We still have many discrimination and but Everyone is free and treated equal (most of the time).Today is our 74th Independence day and no one is able to influence in one way or the other.Everyone is happy.

Equality- Everyone is equal before the law. Atleast now there aren't 2 societies i which 1 is treated badly.We now have a feeling of Brotherhood. Everyone is now nearly equal as full equality is not a reality because of our human nature of comparison.

Technology- Like the other countries India has progressed very far from its initial state.Funding and lack of monetary help is the only lagging reason for the slow development of the country.Still it is not a false claim India is catching up the momentum and in a few decades can be the leading country in the graphs of Technology, If proper  funding is given to young minds and entrepreneurs it is no time that India will break the records.

Law and Order- The equality concept completely transformed the Law and Order as it banished prejudice coming in the ways of proper treatment although it also imprisoned innocent or bailed the criminals from imprisonment. Today our Law and Order is to be shown as the best in the world but the reality differs, I am not saying every police station and every police person is Corrupt but the one those are corrupt other good cops and and stain their reputation.I feel a need for another Lord Canning to come and cleanse our Law and Order.
